The fantastic 4 are by no means the end of the road in fact I’m going to be exploring more way more and doing training videos on everything I personally use in my business. There are thousands of different social media sites out there specializing in many different aspects of social networking. I just picked the 4 that I happened to start with when I began my journey.
I started SMA (Social Media Awareness) Video training series because I felt the need for it in my own circles of family and friends. Beyond all that I have felt the need from my colleagues so I’m going to try my best to help. This is also something that I can give to my children when they begin to learn about social media and the Internet and what it has done for the whole world all on its own. Social Media has enveloped the world in what I call an information ozone layer and it continues to reach into every home via television, computer, cell phone, and picture frame it can get is Binary on. Social Media is changing how people receive, display and broadcast information across the planet we could not stop it if we wanted to! No matter what it is that you do, if you’re not networking via social media you’re missing out on the world! Why limit yourself to doing regional trade shows, events, and parties that all cost money in one form or another. Business cards, Flyers and DVDs are all part of the game we played in the past. Once you have Social Media Awareness you have the keys to the world and no one can stop you! This is great considering you probably have worked for someone else’s Dreams and goals for minimum wage or worse! I want to give you the keys to your dreams and goals by giving you the information you need now! To my knowledge there are zero collages teaching the kinds of things I am and if there are collages teaching SMO It will not be FREE! So pick one! Do you want to work with someone dumping theory’s all over you or do you want to learn from someone who is actively participating and making money from Social media?
All of this costs both time and money! You can waste a shit ton of both poking your nose around trying to figure things out or you can learn from what I know!

Social media optimization
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Social Media Optimization)
Social media optimization (SMO) is a set of methods for generating publicity through social media, online communities and community websites. Methods of SMO include adding RSS feeds, social news buttons, blogging, and incorporating third-party community functionalities like images and videos. Social media optimization is related to search engine marketing, but differs in several ways, primarily the focus on driving traffic from sources other than search engines, though improved search ranking is also a benefit of successful SMO.
Social media optimization is in many ways connected as a technique to viral marketing where word of mouth is created not through friends or family but through the use of networking in social bookmarking, video and photo sharing websites. In a similar way the engagement with blogs achieves the same by sharing content through the use of RSS in the blogosphere and special blog search engines.
Social Media optimization is considered an integral part of an online reputation management (ORM) or Search Engine Reputation Management (SERM) strategy for organizations or individuals who care about their online presence.
Template:Business Strategy Social Media Optimisation (SMO), is not limited to marketing and brand building. Increasingly smart businesses are integrating social media participation as part of their knowledge management strategy (ie. product/service development, recruiting, employee engagement and turnover, brand building, customer satisfaction and relations, business development and more).
[edit]Origins
According to search engine expert Danny Sullivan, the term “social media optimization” was first used and described by Rohit Bhargava.[1] Bhargava’s original five (six?) rules for conducting social media optimization are:[2]
Increase your linkability
Make tagging and bookmarking easy
Reward inbound links
Help your content travel
Encourage the mashup
Get communities connected
