You Inc. Why it’s important to brand “YOU”
So why should you brand your self ? Why go through all of the extra time and trouble to explain who you are?
Well for me if I was looking at you for a potential mentor or guide if you will, I would want to know who you are and what you’re about. What you do for a living and why you choose to do it. Why does it work for you? And 1000 other questions that pop up over the course of our new relationship that is if you could manage to keep me interested that long!
Do you offer valuable content? Is it unique or are you a copy cat draining knowledge off of other blogs and resources not really taking to heart the content you’re copying.
Are you true to your audience? Truly offering value, are you in it for the long haul or are you looking for a quick buck?
This is where the importance of branding “YOU” or creating “YOU INC.” takes place. When you let people know who you are instead of hiding behind some product or service, you instantly become a person and not a sales person! This is very important; remember people do business with people not businesses! Your relationship with your audience can evolve and go to a much deeper level. This creates an atmosphere of comfort, stability, and deep trust!
There are several advantages and +s to branding “YOU”!
When you brand your self you immediately offer your self more flexibility in many facets of your business!
When you push one product or service you limit your self to that one specific market or audience! With the 80/20 rule in full effect the odds are greatly reduced that you will attract anyone!
When you brand your self you immediately open up the flood gates letting your self market any thing that you could ever want to. This also compounds the amount of different markets you can market to resulting in you creating odds in your favor. For example and this is only one reason of the many, if I were to only market GDI and GDI changed something that my down line and I didn’t like I could be sunk due to every one leaving for some other cool business plan that they did like! Don’t fool your self this does happen and will happen if you are lucky enough to build your consulting business if it hasn’t happened to you yet odds are you haven’t built a big enough business or down line for these little changes to hurt you. Remember it’s not a scar tactic to release the figure that 97% of all network marketers fail to build the empire they first envisioned! Its a fact think about it out of all the people you know that are doing what your doing are they really driving around BMWs and livening in $100,000 + houses Not that $100,000.00 is allot of money but you get the point are they really making it big! I don’t consider 50,000 or even 100,000 dollars in sales to be making it I consider that to be an achievable number to anyone in network marketing if they applied them selves! Think about it the average commission is 36% that means at the very most you only earned 36,000 in one year! For most that is allot of money and could be used by allot of people but that is not the kind of income that will set you free financially and I do not have to tell you how much work that would be for you! Do you really think you can keep up with that pace or life style? How many home parties can you really do in a month?
